POF Bolt carrier group HELP

I’ve got a POF Renegade in .300blk, I run suppressed all the time. It’s been a fabulous gun. I ran 120 flawless rounds through it last weekend. Took it an apart to clean and it was full of brass dust/shavings. Then I noticed the top of the BCG is getting “pinched”. See pics. This part sits just about in the charging handle, there nothing there to hit or pinch it. What can cause this? See pics. Thanks in advance.

Are you referring to the staking on the gas key bolt?

Am I crazy, and it’s always been this way? And my brass shavings are from brass casings?

I'm no expert, so someone may come along and correct me, but I am pretty sure that's normal. It's how they keep the bolts from backing out.

I've heard about this before and I think it's unburnt powder

If it was brass shavings, that is oftentimes caused by sharp edges on the ejector and/or extractor.
