Colt "C" stamped bolt carrier groups, Police Dept. Trade-Ins... only $69.95 at Recoil Gunworks...

Never mind, sold out... just barely had time to place my order and start this thread before they were out of stock. Sold out in less than 5 minutes from the time I received the email. Maybe they will have more of them soon.

No joke. Wth did they do to it?
Because Colt either wants to curry favor with the gun grabbers and the gubment or they just don't trust their customers. Might be both. I still don't know why people get all moist over Colt products anyway. I kinda get it as far as the snake gun collectors go since they did make some damn pretty wheel guns at one time. But there's WAY too many other companies making 1911s for me to get in line to pay Colt more money. And as far as ARs are concerned... man please! I don't need no pony roll mark.
I've been over this before but one more time around won't hurt. In the late 80s and early 90s Colt filled in or didn't mill out the pocket for the area where an auto sear would go. In some rifles there was a shiny aluminum block in that spot with the Colt logo on it. Might as well have been a fist shooting the bird. Then they also used different diameter hammer and trigger pins in some rifles. And this wasn't any kind of mandate from the gubment. None of the other AR companies ( to my knowledge) did that. So to ME Colt was being a dick to their loyal customers just for the sake of being a dick.

Colts has been banking in on military contract gravy train going forever and have left innovation to the wayside. So many better manufactures that don’t just rely on the credibility they had decades ago. Just buy a toolcraft, brownells, psa bcg that have a lifetime warranty and be done with it.

Protip: there are only so many BCG OEM’s. Far fewer than people think.

My BCGs arrived today, which is relatively fast for $5 S/H from Indiana with no sales tax. Looks like they ran out of the "neutered" ones and substituted full auto versions for those of us buying multiples. They are dirty but, otherwise, in good shape, especially considering that a factory Colt bolt assembly alone, without carrier, sells for about $100. Yippee... and I ain't even a Colt fan boy (although I do own a few for investment purposes).
