In those prehistoric times not so long ago,in normal customer consumption, with no school shooting or POTUS election,Id guess the cost per rnd to produce would be between .15- 25 cents per round after shipping. I doubt we ever see that day again. The narrative is following the socialist script closely, this time. I dont get out much, but I took my dad for an outpatient eye surgery today. I had some time to kill so I hit LGS's and Academy. Academy has no ammo section at all anymore. Filled with paper targets. And arrogant shytes behind the empty gun counter. The LGS had, as always great people behind the counter. And some Great guns. But mot much gun food.
You speak so purty

If I’m buying $0.10/R

If I’m sailing $2/R

Hey man, I know what I got, I don’t make the rules.

I also have a nice Anderson for cell. $2500 OBO. I’ll post it shortly so the guys who sell SKS for $1000 and Daniel Defense fanbois can crush my hopes and dreams.

But to seriously answer your question...in these current ammo times it’s whoever has it available and whatever you’re willing to pay for it. Sorry for the non answer, but if you really needed some you’ll buy it at whatever price since it’s readily available.

Fiddy to tree fiddy.
Trying to grow neckbeard b4 I sail my most inferior pistol round.

I would like it in the .30 to .40 range. But I have paid .50 just cause I wanted to go to the range and not dip into my stash.

.50 cents a round at this point is considered a good deal. Cheapest I've seen at some good online retailers that still stay in stock through all this very consistently is .68.....
