Port St. Joe- Joe- scalloping spots

Been there fishing several times.
Staying on CSB in early September.
We'll be both wading or kayaking and snorkeling.

Where are the best spots to access the bay and park to get out on the grass flats?

Any other advice is appreciated.

Camped out on the peninsula at the state park campground. Don't know about scalloping but the fishing & kayaking were good on both sides.

Plan to hit the park.
Just not sure where to putn in to hit the bay for scallops.

Any of the marinas right there on either side of the bridge will work. One is a state park. Take a dive knife and keep an eye out for bull sharks. I grew up filling 5 gallon buckets with scallops on the Pontoon boat with all the extended family. Limits sure have changed though. Good luck!

Long paddle to get scallops from there. Try Presnells rv site or ask where you get to the old concrete bridge which is where you need to be.

Last year it didnt matter. They were literally everywhere. You could just pick a spot from the road if u wanted to
