Possible ODT Gun Show & Swap Meet in Albany, GA on Nov. 11

Yes BUT...it's a much easier and less aggravating drive than anything from Henry Co north. Holy **** I hate going up there!

Lived in Albany for a year and a half and in Tifton now. Downtown Albany, Ga is an absolute **** ghetto. Not going to a show there. Plenty of other places in South Ga to do a show.

I live in Perry and would LOVE for it to be held here. But there's only one venue that I'm aware of which is the Ag Center and they already turned us down.
Now if it's still up for debate then yes, I would vote for somewhere around Macon ( but not Macon) which is MIDDLE GA. That makes it a more reasonable drive for everyone.

What about the Reaves arena in Perry? It would be a great venue if they allowed it. We had the state wrestling tournament there back in March.

That's the Ag Center. And as I recall Okuma Steve already asked them and was refused. I agree it's a great venue in a convenient location but obviously they don't want us around.

Hi Everyone!

We are considering having a gun show/swap meet in Albany, GA on Nov. 11. We will send out an email later today to try and gauge interest in the event and this will serve as the discussion thread for it.

We currently have a hold on the Albany Civic Center and we need to make a decision in the next week or so.

What does everyone think, is there enough interest for this event to work? I tried many other places and this was the first place that didn't turn me down.

This will receive great attendance ; enthusiasts in our area have long been disappointed with the quality of shows held here in the last 20 years . Say the word and I will help get it done !

Doubt I’ll be able to attend due to work being busy around that time but I agree with some of the others that mentioned Cordele as a better location since it’s right off I-75.
