Possible ODT Gun Show & Swap Meet in Albany, GA on Nov. 11

Wish I could say yes but 4 hour roundtrip drive is too much in one day for me. That's Veteran's Day too so I have some responsibilities for that.

I do appreciate the effort you are putting into this. I really enjoyed the TruPrep swap meet and the 2 gun shows. Thank you for doing those.

Albany ain't THAT bad for me. And it's far enough out to make a plan. I should be able to show up. Although I don't have anything to sell so I don't need a table or space. Somebody remind when it gets close.

I may go. I doubt many will show though. Albany is an anal fistula for the state.

Last gun show I attended there in 2011, the very first table across from the promoter taking admission had a 4 foot display of fake dog shyte. The rest of the vendors in that building weren't much better. ODT show will be the best show they've ever held.

Macon might be a better option.

Macon has a gun show every day that ends in murder, robbery, carjacking, etc. 😲

Seems like Macon, Perry, those middle of the state locations would be better for active members in central and south Ga. Albany is SW, and it is a crime ridden **** show. I would not be able to go either way, but those are the things I would consider.

Hi Everyone!

We are considering having a gun show/swap meet in Albany, GA on Nov. 11. We will send out an email later today to try and gauge interest in the event and this will serve as the discussion thread for it.

We currently have a hold on the Albany Civic Center and we need to make a decision in the next week or so.

What does everyone think, is there enough interest for this event to work? I tried many other places and this was the first place that didn't turn me down.

I'm not a vendor, but I live about 1.5-2 hours east of Albany. IF I'm not hunting the rut in Butts Co then, I could drive over

I'd definitely decline. Spending almost 8 hours total driving back and forth wouldn't give much time to shop and meet members.

I wouldn't go to Macon either. I managed properties there for a year and watched a guy get shot right in front of my front door.
