Okay y'all, I need some help and it's kind of a long story. When we lived in Darien we had a litter of kittens and kept the mother and the black baby boy Rollo. A young couple I worked with at the port took in his sister and named her River. I helped them move into the house they bought in downtown Brunswick in 2017. Well the wife wound up with stage 4 breast cancer not long after that. Made it through the double mastectomy and radiation after that. She sent us pics of River the whole time.
Well now her husband is leaving and they're getting a divorce. She is moving back to upstate NY with her folks who hate cats.
So as of last night she asked if we could take River and another fixed and chipped female. Well what could I do? I can't let them go to the Glynn Co shelter. But as far as the city of Perry is concerned I'm over my limit now. So I REALLY need to find homes for these two friendly fixed females. The grey and white one is River and looks just like her mother. Never met the orange and white one but she looks really friendly. I have until June to work this out. I WILL drive a damn good distance to re-home these cats to the right folks. I've done it for puppies and I'll gladly do it again.

It makes my wife mad that they come to me on the couch and get all snuggled up.
