My photography teacher in college threatened to fail the next person that turned a kitty cat or puppy dog photo. He said after teaching the class for 30 years, he's seen enough. He said if we turn in photos of ANY animal, it better be something he hasn't seen or we fail the entire class. Taking that as a challenge, I put together a series of harsh contrast, very graphic, ground level close ups of road kill complete with maggots and flies, guts and blood. I made an A in the class, the photos went on gallery tours ( Some actually even sold!). And I earned the nickname. My name is Brett
Lived in South Africa and went out hunting with a friend who just got his professional hunter's license. Worked our butts off all day behind a little African tracker trying to get a shot. Low crawled the last 100 yards. Our tracker inched up a little berm and whispered back to us ... Kudu boss.
