I no longer carry IWB after trying a X-Concealment Generation 2 C holster. It's the most comfortable holster I've found to date, and conceals as well as anything IWB.
I can't carry owb because I like to conceal and do not want to wear a shirt over my t shirt to cover my pistol.
I was using a shepherds leather kydex/ leather hybrid but I carry a government model 1911 and it shredded a hole in every pair of pants I own although the holster was very comfortable and concealed well.
I hated the metal clips that would etch every chair I sat in including leather car seats.
The open muzzle let my front sight tear into my pants above the rear pocket.
I broke down and bought a Galco v- hawk which has been a real improvement.
The leather straps that snap are a bit more time consuming to put on the belt bit well worth it as they don't marr up everything when you sit down.
The v hawk covers the muzzle area so your front sight does not shred your pants although I wish the muzzle was totally encased as it is an open area at the muzzle but covers it.
Plus I'm sure it helps it breathe while sweating.
It's a great looking holster in shiny black leather and carries the 1911 very comfortably all day long at 5:00 position.

i like the aegis armory guardian with my g42. i carry it tethered to my belt and tucked in my waistband. hardly know its there.
