I used to play PC. But it became too costly to constantly upgrade processors, ram and video cards every few months

Yes it is, but I like tinkering with the components. I don't need top of the line to get great results, especially with today's processors.

I didn't get the latest and greatest either. But just to try and keep on par still required the upgrades. You could get by for a year and be fine but then it would cost triple to get back up to where you were. I quit building shortly after the water cooling came out.
