Presenting SBR Stamp

In GA, you only have to be able to provide it to the ATF if asked. Must be able to make it available to them.

(not legal advice) I would keep shrunken copies with me, or saved to your phone in PDF format. If that doesn't suffice, tell them you will be glad to bring them by the field office the next business day. The copies/pdf's will suffice in 99% of cases.

I'm with Dobbs though. I've had all kinds of MG's on me, and as soon as I SAY I'm a machinegun dealer (I still get a chub saying that) no one asks anymore questions. Never shown my FFL or forms.

Never thought about keeping digital copies handy, good Idea.

Currently I carry wallet sized copies around.

Right, I've always kept a reduced size, laminated copy just to avoid a hassle. The owner must "maintain" it, but that could mean you keep it in a safe deposit box.

As far as a range requiring it, they can pound sand.

I keep my trust document and all ATF stamps in PDF format on a dedicated flashdrive that stays in my range bag. I also have them uploaded to Google drive so I can access them (theoretically) anywhere.

That's good thinking.

My thought was that the only time I would have to show them (read: or go to jail) would be when/if an ATF agent asked to see them...and if I am in the presence of the ATF, chances are I'm in an office or there is a laptop nearby. I can't imagine the scenario when I would need to produce a paper copy. I don't even have one.

The only piece of original paperwork that I will have from the ATF will be a paper F4 that is still out in limbo. Everything else to date has been digital.
