Anyway when I was a little kid my dad took me hunting all over the world, boar in Hawaii, alligators in Nicaragua, Whitetail in Michigan... and the list is really too long.
My dad got this old LC Smith passed down from my mother's father, who is a character in his own, and although he has probably not Hunted in close to 50 years... we stopped hunting when I was about 11 or 12. This is one of the shotguns that is always been out in his home. It probably hasn't been cleaned since 1970. And I just felt like doing something special for him while he still here.
I am not going to take this baby up to another level this is a preservation restoration. Fixing the crack stock removing the rust cleaning up the barrel well we will see as we go...
These shotguns are little more difficult than you would imagine. Almost everything you need to remove a sequential and there's a lot of stuff under tension...
