Thanks for posting this. It supports what myself and others who have an ounce of industry knowledge have been fairly screaming at the Fudds and nitwits who have been spreading falsehoods and rumors for almost a year.

And if they are basing that 700 million on NICS checks alone it is probably closer to double that amount of new gun owners. I would estimate that 97% of my customers don't need background checks because of WCL and I know of no other way they could track those estimates. Not to mention that those are only first time gun owners. No mention of all of us who have guns and bought more. I would say 7 million is a very conservative estimate.
Sometimes the simplest answer turns out to more likely to be true rather than some convoluted theory.
