I sold a Ruger Target once and got hate mail for "saleing" it too low.100% correct.
We'll piss and moan the price too high and then piss and moan the price was too low we missed out on the deal!

What's you gonna sell ?Just wondering what seems to be a good price point compared to new pricing?
I know that something is only worth what someone is willing to pay, but I would like a good starting point.
Please wait until this post gets sent to the pasture. At this point it’s still a pretty good thread with honest helpful answers. What's you gonna sell ?
In my opinion and experience, delivery is as negotiable as the price. If both buyer and seller (or traders) are motivated and there's a distance between we're usually able to work out a meet somewhere in between. Each deal is different and I've found most I've dealt with have been reasonable. If not reasonable, no deal. Simple as that.so if selling (in odt vernacular) celling
160% of new value
if buying remember
they are crazy, they want too much... its only worth 1/16th of what they want. they need to deliver it. they want to sell it, why should you go pick it up...
