I'm completely underwhelmed... I've been looking forward to this for a long time and it hit with a resounding meh. Right now AP has a better deal and you'll get it faster then two months (With much better CS)
Maybe in a few weeks prices will drop, blems will be available or complete rifles making it worth it...until then I'll keep saving up for a REPR.

yeah i expected a little bit more of a deal. for someone building an immediate .308 you can do better. i was going to buy one of stripped lowers for the low SN and just to have in the future years (no plans for a 308 anytime soon) but shipping is 17 bucks. no thanks, for now.
I think people have become spoiled by AR15 prices. The AR10 is about where AR15s were at price wise in the early 2000s (2001-2002). It is going to take some time for AR10s to become popular enough so that more and more manufactures begin making parts for the AR10. Like the AR15 industry, the more companies making rifles and parts the less rifles and parts cost. I am glad the AR10 is taking off, I hope it continues to become more and more popular but I don't expect to see high quality sub $1,000 AR10s for at least another year or so.

Very true. I am hoping to get the low serial #. I have one of the first AR15's from PSA, so my future AR10 would be nice to have the same thing.
Also, does anyone know if the AP lower accepts the AR15 fire control group? I would appear so by the LPK images, but I have not seen a definitive "yes" with my searches thus far.
