You should have the alerts set up so you get a text message for EVERY charge on your card , no matter how small .

And they don’t call , if the card issuers get suspicious they just cut off the card , and wait for you to call them .

And the skimmers at stores and gas pumps ,
Are usually installed by the store owner or clerk .

I’m in sales. I have to answer every call. If it’s an obvious scam I get to have a little fun with them before I hang up.
