Classic City firearms in Athens does $5 transfers to ODT members...
does anyone know of a FFL near douglasville that does free/cheap transfers? The going rate on this side of town is $25.
The closest I know to you is 4th Armory in Marietta...

I am in the same boat my friend.
4th Armory in Marietta does free transfers for ODT. I would just find a LGS that is selling Anderson's receivers for $50 or so and go that route. By the time you pay shipping, just as cheap and a lot quicker. 4th Armory I think has Andersons for $60 and Spikes for $80. They also have great prices of a lot of other stuff to build an AR. Its been a while since I was up there.
Thanks for the info on 4th armory. I looked them up and it's about a 40 min drive. I've been thinking about getting one of PSA's rifle kits. Just trying to find a good deal on a lower. This would be my first build, trying to do it on the cheap.
How many lowers do you need?? Lol
I just hate to pass up a deal.
