PSA: Stay in the fast lane on inner I-285 west side near the river

PSA: the trucking lanes are failing FAST on the inner loop of 285 near the river.

Huge frame bending potholes.

You can see the concrete slabs pump several inches when the big trucks hit them after a pothole.

Truck hubcaps are piling up against the median barrier wall. Dozens of them.

If they don’t fix it soon there will be big chunks of concrete everywheres.

Stay over in the fast lane and keep an eye out for debris. The fast lane is holding up.

Last week we saw a 18 wheeler car hauler hit a huge pothole southbound by the river and in front of the KW dealer, and it was so deep the fuel tank hit the road and was ripped off the rig .

They are patching the outer loop today hopefully they will patch the inner loop tomorrow.

Maybe they should give the subgrade more attention. Soil cement or pressure injected grout or whatever.
