I've been holding out for another WASR but it looks like they're not going under $800 any time soon. PSA's $600 GF3s seem like a no brainer.

Pros and Cons for the GF3 or newer from people with first hand experience?

I have a Gen 3 with a folding stock. Never had an issue with it. I put a Midwest Industries side mount rail on it and it gives return to zero mounting of my Primary Arms red dot. You can’t shoot squirrels at 200 yards but you could hit a goblin or similar sized animal.

To ME the PSAK IS the new WASR. I can't wait to score one after Chrimmuh. I know AK snobs love to talk big **** about American AKs but I see the PSAK as the budget rifle go to. On top of that Robski from AKOU did the 6K round torture test on it and it came through just fine.

It's the only one I feel comfortable leaving in plastic. Have not had a single issue with it or the free Dagger I got with it.
