If you don’t like the businesses policy’s, don’t give them your money. Truthfully I’ve never understood why anyone would open carry in the first place.

Looks like Publix is doing another run of 9.99 Standing rib roast.

This might be the new normal for another year as cattle count is at an all time low. I sure am gonna stock up for the long haul. Do you all see any better pricing anywhere else?

I still have at least 1 in the freezer from last go around. I think there will be better prices as we get closer to Christmas. That's when I'll buy a couple of extra. I do prefer Publix meat to Kroger meat. I took one of the Publix roasts I had vacuum sealed and frozen last year to hunting camp and cooked it for pre-opening weekend dinner. It was delicious.

Funny thing, I got the Publix flyer today and down here it's showing $10.99 a lb.

Do what I did last year...dry age one for a couple weeks wrapped in cheese cloth in the garage fridge before Christmas.

I let it go til it started smelling REAL ripe, but damn was it good after roasting.
