You'd probably draw the attention of predators more than discourage them. Think about all the flashy fishing lures out there.

IDK, that swimmer kinda looks like a (very undernourished) orca.

I've swam, dived, snorkled and got used as shark bait for the SARs guys before I realized that we have no place in the ocean.
Once we step into the sea we drop all the way to the bottom of the food chain.

I've pretty much thought the same for a good while now. I will go in, but I pay close attention to my surroundings. There are a lot of larger more powerful things than us out there

Baby was curious, momma came to ride herd. When she swam on his right side and you realize the beach is close on his left , he should’ve swam away to shore. They are smart animals, obviously smarter than super swimmer in this case.

I call BS. That's gotta be fake, there's no brown trail in the water after the Orca's show up.
