If you wanna travel north instead of south, You could try Brannon Moss up at Moss Firearms in Jasper.

He's threaded a number of barrels for me, some of them quite complicated.
 
What’s an estimate. I expected it to no be cheap.

To get an accurate quote, I'd need to see the rifle, or at least good pics of the front end. You're gonna start at around $350, and go up from there.

It's common to get a sort of cascading effect when doing that sort of job. For instance, the threaded section requires that the front sight be moved back, but on many the front sight can't be moved back far enough because the front barrel band is in the way. No you have to relocate barrel, or shorten the front sight base. That's an added cost that ain't figured into the quote above, as I don't have the rifle to see.
