Question about RMR cut slides for Glock

I'd have it cut for an AOS system. It gives you options for any optic out and will probably be compatible for anything that comes out later. It's not that much more than a RMR cut from a legit place and would add value for me and I would assume others.
Also not a bad idea. Most all legit shops have their version of a cut with a plate that allows for most any sight to be used as long as they make a version for that particular optic.

Tell me more about this AOS system? Of all the shopping around I've done, they make you choose a specific brand of optic to cut for.

The AOS in particular seems to be the best, most versatile from my research and it's also open source so other Smiths can cut it without going through Agency.

I've got a Suarez SI-419 coming in today with an RMR set up. I got if off another ODT member earlier this week. Low round count (less than 300) but I'll break it down and look it over tonight. It's going on my Nomad 9 project build. I'll be able to give you an opinion on it as far as build quality tonight and a functional review by Friday afternoon.

IMO, as long you go with a well known shop you can't go wrong on the after market slide on quality parts and solid work. In my research the prices varied wildly as did the design options. Intended purpose of use is a factor also.
