Question on three round burst triggers.

My Question is, If someone was to install a complete three round burst trigger with the correct selector into an AR minus the sear and the three round hammer gear, what would happen. I know it would be completely stupid but someone I know thinks it would make their rifle full auto. I told him I don't think the trigger would fit without milling some to the lower and if he did get it in I think it would cause a runaway fire.

3 round burst , means 3 round burst. If installed correctly will do just that. Legs love it, can't be trusted with full auto

Bullcrap. Without an auto sear the disconnector will just cam over every three shots. Will still be a semi auto. Need an auto sear to trip the disconnector.

Also need a proper carrier. Without the happy hole and auto sear it's just a semi.

Every one forgets to steal the damn selector switch. 3 round burst won't work without it and they don't just "fall out" and get lost like when trigger group pins mysteriously "fall out".
You can't just knock a pin and shake them out.

Without the full parts kit he's got nothing.
If he has the full 3rd kit ATF will be there shortly, you might wanna avoid your "buddy" for while.....
