Quick weight loss COST ?

I appreciate all the good suggestions....but today is my birthday and I am forced to eat a great dinner followed by a fantastic coconut cream pie.....I'll start tomorrow keeping
track of what I eat and how many calories. I promise I will walk daily. I parked the riding mower and used the push job.

OK, so it's time to get serious about shedding some pounds. But what does it cost? Quick weight loss
seems to be the popular way to go....any thoughts.

Walk or run, eat HEALTHIER and less caloric intake. Its simple really, get your heart rate at the 60% zone and your body can more efficiently burn fat calories rather than being in the anaerobic zone at 90% of your Max Heart rate., this is based off your resting beats per minute.

All the healthy eating and exercise replies are good. I cook all my food. I quit eating out. My husband and I might eat out twice a month. Restaurant and prepared foods have too much sodium. Cut out the salt and you will loose weight and your heart and blood pressure will thank you. Quit drinking soda including diet soda. Diet drinks are the worst. I quit drinking diet coke last year and I lost 25lbs. I only drink water, tea that I have made myself and black coffee. Figure out how much you want to weigh and limit yourself to that amount of calories and you will loose weight. It might be slow but it's the healthy way to loose the weight and if you stick to it life long, you will keep it off.

Everybody's metabolism is different.

I used to eat like the FDA said and was way overweight with exercise. Now I hardly exercise, eat mostly meat (yes, even with high sodium and preservatives) and my weight is down and my BP and bloodwork is perfect. You have to find what's right for you. Every body is different.

I recently started an unofficially diet. Try to eat a smaller portion than I normally do, only drink water (and an occasional beer.. Lol), avoid breads/starches as much as possible and stick with protein rich foods. I'm 5'11 and have gone from 190 to 185 in a month. Nothing crazy, but I have only changed my diet a little bit. Add a little more physical activity and you'll lose a few more. It's free and not very difficult.
