Look at a reduced recoil spring. Kidd/volquartsen and others sell pretty cheap

That is awfully kind of you. I have a local store that sells some so I'll pick up a box to try it out again. If I can get it to cycle reliably out of the 10/22 that will be a game changer.

I've got just a regular stock 10/22 takedown and the Quiet Semi-Auto stuff cycles it just fine.

Just found a box of this at bass pro the other day. I now realized this is the semi auto version and not the stuff i used a while back. I should really read and look at the post 🤣. This stuff fires pretty reliably through my 10/22. In for more. Thanks for letting me know this stuff exists.
