I was at that concert it was wild and hot! I remember seeing them help Johnny Winter on stage, and he ripped it up. I graduated HS in ‘76 and went to many concerts that summer! I also saw Rick with Edgar at Macon coliseum with the James Gang after Joe Walsh left the band, his replacement was Tommy Bolin, great concert!

Man you ain’t kidding it was hot! Me and my girlfriend at the time were squished so tight against the fence when Rick & the Winter bros were jamming my girl fainted and she couldn’t even fall down it was so packed up there. Never got to see the James Gang but I listened to them a lot on 8-track when I was in military school and through high school. I still have their greatest hits on cd though, Joe Walsh was awesome with them and the Eagles. There’s a YouTube video with Joe telling the story of how he came up with “Life’s Been Good” (I think) but it’s hilarious, I never knew how funny that guy was until I saw it. 😂
