RDS and 3x magnifier or 1-6x illuminated LVPO

This is what I’m currently running and I wouldn’t change a thing. LPVO with offset dot is the way to go. If you go offset dot you’ll want to go for something with a closed emitter so debris isn’t a problem.

I‘ve run dots and magnifiers but perform a world better with LPVOs. Depending on your budget a delta Stryker hd or vortex razor 2-e can be used like a standard optic at 1x and your still able to reach out at range at 6x. I’d also go FFP with a solid reticle that can be used with or without illumination.

Not an eotech. Center dot remains the same.

That said, I take your approach. LPVO with an offset or piggybacked mrds depending on the setup.

I'm just not a fan of magnifiers. Bulky as hell. Unity somewhat solved the issue with their mount, but still bulky

When someone says Red dot, I don't include Holographic sights.
