I’ve heard from people who have seen it that it is not a Hollywood hit-piece,
that it does justice to Reagan’s legacy, and portrays his efforts to counter the Soviets during the Cold War and his conservative economic policies.
Sure, it also shows that he was criticized by leftists such as labor unions over his firing of the aircraft controllers, condemned by the gay community over what they consider an ineffective response to AIDS —at that time known as “the gay plague.”
But that’s how it played out in the press 40 years ago, too.

Don't forget that the so called "National Debt" doubled under Reagan.
That national debt is so dang high there is no way in hell it will ever be paid off. Unless the other countries of the world pay us what they owe us !! It’s all a vicious circle of blame and greed if you ask me . Everyone owes everyone !!
