The NRA and the firearms industry has some very powerful lobbying groups...
Many politicians lost their offices in elections after the first 'assualt weapons ban'....
Politicians are whores...
Politicians want to stay in office, no matter what...
Politicians can be bought (they're whores (sorry to associate politicians with you whores out there))...
Where is the money i banning weapons? There is almost no money to be made by banning weapons is there? So, I ask, how are the people who want to ban fire arms going to BUY THEIR POLITICAL INFLUENCE?
Politicians have 'advisors' to help them stay elected and they can look back at the history of what happens to politicians in most states in this nation who supported the previous 'assault weapons ban'...
The Advisors will tell the politicians to "fight the ban". That way, they'll reason, we'll have more money for re-election...
And...
What goes up, must come down...
REMEBER HOW PEOPLE WERE DRIVING UP THE PRICES OF HOUSES BACK IN 2004, 2005 AND 2006...
Everyone then thought I "got to buy me a house now!"
In 2012, the housing market is way lower, in fact, it is in pre 2004 prices BECAUSE OF OVERSUPPLY...
A lot of people don't want a house anymore...
Remember: "What goes up, must go down"...

Gun owners are just paranoid by nature...
Gun purchases will get moved up. We arn't going to wait, in other words. We're going to buy that AR now!

The manufacturers will ramp up production to meet demand...
Everybody and their brother who is even close to making AR receivers is sitting around a coffee table, a kitchen table or the boardroom table saying to each other HOW CAN WE MAKE MORE AR RECEIVERS?????
Supply will thin out over the next copule of months...
The buyers willing to pay $1,500 will get a hold of their rifles...
The smaller poplulation of buyers willing to pay $2,000 will get a hold of their rifles...
We'll start getting pretty thin on empty hands that can hold a rifle cause almost everyone who can pay for one, got one...
The one guy willing to pay $2,500 will get a hold of his rifle from one of the guys who paid $2,000 for his and got found out by his Wife...
They're be no more buyers of ARs...
ARS will be available on line again...
ARS will be in the stores again...
Dealers will get sick of all these stinking ARS around...
Joe Sixpack will start missing payments on his credit card, he'll sell his AR at a loss of hundreds of dollars...
The heavier tax burden we all face will cause people to see other firearms at a loss so they can buy groceries to feed their families...
"Wait, I don't get a tax refund this year? How am I going to pay for that trip to Disney Land?" Then they Wife will pressure them to sell that AR they could not afford in the first place...
Fire arm prices will plunge even more as the large population of Baby Boomers continues to pass away and their heirs receive Grand Dads old firearm collection with minty S&W revolvers and deer rifles. The heirs will sell the collection off cause they don't like guns...
The other guns that have been in short supply will be overflowing in gun dealer's show cases...
The supply of choices for firearms, other than ARs, will contine to swell...
Meanwhile in Washington...
Politicians will bicker... isn't that all they do anyway? What have they got done the last four years?...
Nancy Pelosi will continue to ask for the moon, that's what you do when you enter a negotion. You ask for the moon and hope to get something close...
The Republicans know they got the voters mad already...
The Republicans just need to stone wall a while, or ask for the moon in return...
Democrats and Republicans, or "the whores", will come out with some kind of watered down bill cause they got to do something that is the least painful (will cost them the fewest votes)...
The public gets enamoured with some new female pop star, a wierd foreign singer or some new way to get high legally and forgets about, what was that shooting massacre again...
Life goes on...
I go and buy an AR for less than I can get it today because there are so many for sale and people are too broke to afford them.
