Recall Area ?

With firearm safety being so important I was thinking maybe an area with product recalls as stickys would be useful to us all as consumers??? It seems manufacturers treat them as brand trashing dirty secrets rather than putting our safety first.

Just a thought.

I was thinking it would be a short but useful safety tool. There have been many outdoor product recalls throughout the years that would not only apply to new products but many of the older outdoor products as well. I wouldn't know how to go about starting though.
I do know that just this month Thompson Center confirmed a problem with the sear on the Venture Rifles that can lead to a discharge without the trigger being pulled.

I googled firearms recalls and found a couple of links to recalls and there are a lot more than I was aware of.

I think this one would make a nice sticky maybe in the firearms chat area.

It gets my vote. It a good idea, if nothing else get people to check to make sure what they have isn't the recalled stuff, went through hell with federal a few months ago with recalled ammo. Besides with recalls having them up front for a while is a good idea, means people who don't check often can catch it before they blow themselves up.
