No sweat. I ditched the idea of the Kong Duck on my 8mm ropes and went with prusik tenders on both ropes. Tied them myself….simple, light and inexpensive.
Hope this makes sense. So climbing is climbing but once up, I remove my climbing rope, sub it as an additional tether and use both Prussiks as safeties for the Kong’s. Just had to buy an additional bridge. Works for me any way.
I know this is overkill but I feel covered in case of a bridge, tether or ascender failure. 2X everything.
