Reaching the slide release on a 227 with the E2 grips shouldn't be a problem, the decocker may be though. While the 14 round extended mags are great for range time, it may be hard to conceal with that + 4 extension. The decocker on a 220 is about the same distance as the 227, it's within millimeters but you can get thin grips for 220's which may help you.
Yep. The 14 round mags are monsters. You CAN take the plastic sleeve off the bottom so they are smooth from top to bottom and will fit in a pocket better.
