Anytime you would like lets see which 1911 would you like to shoot against?I have owned from $400 1911,s to $3000 1911,s and shot pretty much everything in between.Have shot several Taurus,s the fit ,finish and function just flat out suck.

Oh is this a competition now, pew pew I would be inclined to submit to your greater knowledge of 1911´s if it weren't for your statement that Taurus fit finish and function sucks. Granted there may be better 1911´s in its price range I haven't tried enough to verify that but i know they function fine, fit is within tolerances for them to function fine but finish is often ugly, (I think their paint shop is in a chicken coop)
oh and here is my internet 1911 CV so you know my 1911 knowledge is solid; I have owned a big 1911 a small one and also one with those fin thingies you know pingatingy something, I have also used 1911´s mostly colts in multiple military campaigns and counter terrorism both in COD and counterstrike so you know I'm an operator.

I love my Taurus 1911. One of the best values out there as far as what you get for what you pay. Mine's been accurate and reliable.

Never owned the Remington or Springer.

Good luck with your decision and I'm sure you'll be happy with whatever you get!

I must have gotten a lemon. My AC 1911 sucked, I've had/have 5/4 Taurus's. One lemon out of the 5. I also don't use the Taurus mags so that may be a good reason why the work so well.

Springfield would be my choice between the 2. Although personally for the money, I would get a RIA Tactical and put the difference in upgrades / custom touches for it and ammo.

You girls play nice now...Personally I like the mid-range 1911's (kimbers, colt, etc.) however, if you can shoot the freakin weapon and kill with the freakin weapon, the use the freakin weapon...GOD BLESS AMERICA...

P.S. a good starter low end 1911 try a citadel carry...nice trigger and function...good for a carry because you don't care if you beat the S__t out of it...
