I'm sure it was overhauled at some point

You never know, I have a 1918 Remington with the GI holster and belt. Its been passed down through my family and have been told over and over again it's original. It came with an ACE .22 conversion kit still wrapped in the wax paper in it's card board box with the end label still attached.

What condition % does your eyes rate it at?

Thanks.

I never thought about that, but since you asked......I've seen a lot of them, some perfect looking some rough ones as I'm sure most gun collectors have. I'm not a collector and would just off the top of my cortex say between 80-90? Another consideration is how many changes have been made? none How loose is the action? tight It was my dad's gun and he passed in 02', he wasn't a range shooter and I fired maybe 50-100 rounds through it. I'm guessing he maybe put that many through it? I posted pics and have a few more.

Not one to tell you how to go about your business but I wouldnt post the entire serial number on the internet. There are some scumbags out there that could do the wrong thing with it.
