Remington Returns! Ammo Plant Back Online.

I have a friend that works at Federal's Anoka, MN facility. He was normally on the 9mm and .40cal lines and typically produced between 350,000 and 400,000 rounds per shift. He was transferred to the .45acp line for a short time and said many times he sat on his butt, idle. Federal was sending primers to Remington to help get them up and running (at the expense of Federal product lines.) Prior to the ammo shortage, he could buy 'seconds' from the Company Store. Almost unlimited. Come the shortage, the opportunity to buy 'seconds' was severely curtailed to almost non-existent.
