Kill as many as you can. I guarantee that you aren’t seeing all of the ones that are actually there.
It is an ongoing process. Something that would have to be done yearly or more. There has been studies done where when a population is reduced in an area the remaining population is stimulated and reproduce more. So unless you band together with your adjacent land owners to eradicate the packs in the area you may end up with more yotes(I think a coyote's range is like 2-5 miles). I've heard when you hear yotes howling its a form of roll call. If part of the pack doesn't answer then the females go into heat and breed.
They usually breed between January and March and produce 1 litter per year. Gestation lasts approximately 63 days. Females sometimes breed during the winter following their birth, particularly if food is plentiful. Average size of litters is 5 to 7 pups, although a litter of 13 has been reporte
From my understanding they were brought to the south by fox hunters.to run there dogs.which was a big thing in the 70’s.a lot of the hired trappers today have a outsource of selling them to fox pens.
Didn't cost me a dime. They do it for the pelts and that's how they get paid.
