I'm using a RCBS Universal Hand Primer to prime some brand new Winchester .223 brass and I've run across a few cases in which the primer won't seat properly. It is new brass so it's probably a little small. I'll be ordering a pocket reamer, but what to do about the high primers? Anyone have experience de-priming a live primer? I hate to lose the case. And if I do de-prime them should I try to reuse the primers? Thanks.

Fill the case with water and use a drift to punch it out. Youtube reloading steel cased ammo to get a better idea of what I'm talking about.
