Rendering tallow in pellet grill?

I buy my beef by the 1/2 cow. I have about 15lbs of beef tallow left after regular rendering process. I was thinking about rendering the rest in my pellet grill for a smokey flavor option to my frying choices. Any suggestions? Any one do this before? Thanks for the help.
 
I usually render around 250, and you're correct the lower temps do provide more smoke. Very nice of you to share your knowledge. Im going to give it a try.
