Last year I had some AC lines start leaking on a 2013 Hyundai, (pretty sure they were damaged when they put the warranty engine in, but anyways). Pretty sure the systems leaked down, so time to repair. Can I swap out the damaged lines myself then just take it to an AC place, or best to get an AC shop to do it all ?

Any recommendations for an AC shop Snellville / Lilburn / Lawrenceville area ?

If you have the $$ let one shop do it all.
That way if it leaks , you won’t be out the money for Freon when they have to re-open the system for repair.
But if you are adept in auto repair, specifically ac repair, then go for it !! :) :becky:

Very good point !

I always tried to vac the system down thoroughly after repair and see if it held vacuum overnight (if time permitted) before charging and checking for leaks.
Different techs do stuff different ways. To each his own , I reckon ! :thumb:
