I guess seller not really motivated to sell because I tried calling both house and cell phone and left message without any call back......and I live close by too.

Correct. It is not my intention to slander the seller, but just letting y'all know upfront of my frustrating experience --- it appears pretty pointless to waste your time as a buyer given the results we have seen. Obviously, i'm not the only one. The seller was better off trying to dump his collection to a dealer or pawnshop given the circumstances.

That sure is ashame too. I was pretty excited about picking up some more guns. Literally had CASH in my pocket and was ready to make the long drive. What a disappointment.

For what it's worth, when I called the seller answered right away (I called at about 5:45 yesterday). He told me what he had left and was quick to give me his address to come over and take a look. But after reading about the quality of the rifles from another member I decided to not make the >45 minute drive. Point being, when I called in the evening after work was over the seller answered right away.

Called again today after work and still didn't pick up. Really wanted the shotgun for trap shooting. Someone really needs to close or delete this thread.
