vacuum pump i made from a scrap fridge

just a spst switch and a bullet valve on the
suction line

works good on cars---but a little small for
home ac's.

My Dad was in the HVAC business for a couple of decades and empty tanks were my version of reactive/steel targets.

reactive?..these are so thin that they just get full of holes..i have four to six of these a week..sometimes more

If I got one that still had some compressed gas inside you'd get a little reaction, at least with the first shot.
Maybe the ones made in the 70's and early 80's were made with thicker walls?

the 410a pink cans are thicker but propane tanks are a hole lot more reactive with incendiary rounds

I took 2 wood, wire spools, screwed them together. Painted them a black distressed finish and put casters on bottom. Makes a cool end table/bookcase.
