"Request a Conference" in court?

I got one in Greensboro several years ago and they let me go to the back room and they reduced the speed but ihad to pay the fine.
Go tot he conference and ask for mercy. They generally will reduce the speed,but may not the fine.

Update>> Went to court this morning. Requested a conference, and politely asked the solicitor why my ticket was $450. She looked at me like a goat staring at a new fence. She said I have no idea, you only went 15 over... I told her I called to verify twice. She said it must have been erroneous. Paid $150 and I left feeling like I got a 200% discount. Funny how that works. So now with an extra $300, I figured theres no better way to spend the money than on a suppressor
