if they are knowingly breaking code violation then whats the argument here?

im not a fan by any stretch of city ordinances or codes or what not, but they are pretty well spelled out ahead of time generally

He got a call while he was being interviewed by someone from the city. They told him that the codes were outdated and would be looked at and could continue to fly his flags. This was a few days ago.

Ehhh.. screw stupid laws. Sick of the HOA style of government these days. At 2:13 he says that they told him he had to pay a permit fee to fly the flags. Mcdonough can suck it.
