Retirement is closer than I thought.

I know you'd rather have your health. Have you worked any since? Are you happily retired?
I worked part time several years for a friend at his paint and body shop, mostly older cars, trucks and hot rods. I really enjoyed it but finally completely retired in early 2021 due to the congestive heart failure getting worse. Still feel pretty good most days but the shortness of breath and lack of stamina is slowly getting worse. Happily retired and try my best to enjoy whatever time I have left..

I remember the body shop now

I really appreciate all the replies, it sure does cover all the options.
The last 8 years have been in finance dealing with central Latin American countries. It's like walking away from a nightmare.

That should make it a real easy decision

It sure will. I had a heart attack at 39.......Wonder I'm still here......
Had a heart attack in 2000 had a stent put in, had another in 2018 had open heart surgery (took a while to get over that one :scared:) I retired in 2013 and damn glad I did!!

Had one, triple bypass. Took 15yrs to get over it. I guess you really never do. I feel blessed anyway. Won the lottery on good medical ins. My Wife recently has too. I can't say a word about paying to medical ins. We've gotten it all back, I think. We've always been about safety nets. I'm all in for that!!
