I bought my second sparc II
the first one i had and sold with a rifle. for got what it was like,.
Then I was in the market for a second optic. Looked to get a sparc II again.
Anyways i got it and then noticed it had a halo around the outer edges. I thought or it was defective.
Called vortex and told them my issue and they said i can send it in for repair. I had to pay to have it shipped.
I also told them i was missing a mount and they sent me one no charge!
When i got it back the notes said the unit was replaced. Im not sure if it was because i never checked the original serial.
However the same halo was still there! I wonder if they gave me the same unit or if all of them do this?
Im kinda happy with the extra mount and tool. However the initial problem was not addressd.
In summary.
My Sparc II had a halo if that bothers anyone, CS was nice but im unsure if they addressed all of my issues.
