I outfitted my model 19 with a rather nice wood grip. Going to use it as my BBQ gun, in a shoulder rig. But I still think I might have a compact hidden away.

442 in the pocket for quite a while. Absolutely.

I carry whatever feels appropriate for the time. I use autos and revolvers, just what happens to be the best fit. The only thing is absolute is I carry the largest cartridge I can comfortably carry and conceal. these days my pocket pistol and larger carry are 45s. At the farm it's a revolver with the first chamber is a shot shell for snakes when working. Of course when hunting no shot shell. And all weapons are light weight variety except for hunting pistol. If S&W ever makes a 3 series revolver in 45 Colt, I'm on it

absolutely! auto jammers fail to fire, fail to eject, fail to feed, or return to battery. if a revolver fails to fire, just pull the trigger again,

The FBI study shows 95% of all shootings fire less than 3 rounds at less than 20 feet. Where an auto excels is the ability to reload faster
