Well of course not. Just saying, even if you survive, you still have that nightmare to deal with... :-(
I carried a 6" S&W Model 66 for a number of years until i could afford a Beretta 92 .
Whatever you carry clean it often. Pocket lint,dirt, sweat, and whatever else finds its way into your gun rapidly. I dare say that even j frames fail that are carried religiously but not taken care of. Don’t be that guy that goes to shoot a snake and the hammer hangs cocked cause his 36 has enough dirt to plant squash in it and the 5 38’s look like grey q-tips with a rim.
If you’re worried about fingerprints, just wipe each bullet. As much ballistic evidence in the bullet as the case.
I have an air hose in my truck that keeps my carry stuff, nice and clean.
But you are right, I’ve seen a lot of failures at the range. They bring if to the front and ask “what happened”???
