I am looking for a rifle range in the Southeast Georgia area, specifically near Statesboro, if possible. The Richmond Hill WMA range appears to have a nice facility. Has anyone here been there and what was your experience?

The Bullard Creek WMA range is the next closest to me but doesn't appear to have as nice amenities as Richmond Hill. Are there any other decent ranges I am missing that are in the area?

I never been to RH, but I use Big Lazar Creek WMA range, and have always enjoyed it. The people I have met, and the range itself is a great place to shoot, and the state runs a first class operation. The only neg is there's no outhouse, probably because it's so far out of the way no one wants to service it. I'd assume RH is the same way, give it a try, it's free to use.

45 minutes from Statesboro, in Swainsboro, is Cool Acres Sporting Camp. They have 1,000yds, and steel targets every 100yds, at a minimum. Also provisions for paper targets.

I don’t know if they’re open to the public to just shoot, but give Eric a call. Number and info on their site. https://www.coolacressportingcamp.com/

If they don’t allow individuals, I teach courses there. You’re welcome to jump in the 2-day 1,000yd class I’m teaching there on Feb 28/Mar 1. https://www.theoutdoorstrader.com/t...se-february-28-march-1-swainsboro-ga.3949631/
