Rifle for a build NO Savage , and NO magnum

Are you the guy or procrastinator that has a rifle with burnt out barrel or been telling yourself for 5 years that your going to fix a rifle thats been sitting in the safe and never going to actually get around to it . Or maybe you started and just lost interest
Well great news im the guy who wants to take that qaulity rifle project and actually do something with it before it rust away , mauser 98 , winnie , ruger , 700 ect.. and put on a 308 barrel i just recieved .

I had a problem finding one on here also. So I went to Academy and bought a new 700 for $349.95 brand new. Cheaper than I could buy a used action on here for. I think they are still on sale.

Just curious why you don't like Savage. I've found them ,more often than not, extremely accurate.

Nothing wrong with savage , i have a couple , just prefer mauser or the others listed for this build
